Li Li, Associate Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor, MA Supervisor. Dr Li received the B.Eng. degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, in 2006 and the M.Sc. degree with distinction in wireless communications from the University of Southampton, Southampton, UK, in 2009. He received his PhD degree in 2013 from Wireless Communication group, Southampton University, UK. From 2013-2014, he worked in Southampton University, UK, as a postdoctoral researcher. He joined in Southwest Jiaotong University in 2015 and now services as an associate professor.
He is the recipient of “1,000 Talents Plan” of Sichuan Province in 2016. He is also the recipient of “Youth Fellowship” of Southwest Jiaotong University. He acts as the principle investigator for the NSFC projects 62071394 and 61501383 and for the International Technical Innovation Cooperation Key Project of SiChuan Province under Grant 2020YFH0011, as well as the participant researcher for several high-level projects. He serves as an editor for IEEE Communications Letters to handle papers in the areas of Channel Coding Technology since June 2019. He won the 2020 Exemplary Editor Award of IEEE Communications Letters.
His research interests include channel coding, massive random access and intelligent reflection surface
