2018年10月8日至11日，第18届IEEE通信技术国际会议（IEEE ICCT 2018--18th IEEE International Conference on Communication Technology）在重庆隆重举行。

该会议由中国通信学会与中国电子学会于1986年联合发起，是信息和通信技术研究领域的国际盛会，具有很高的学术影响力。本次会议由IEEE、重庆大学微电子与通信工程学院主办，重庆市电子学会、电子科技大学、西安电子科技大学联合主办，中国电子学会、中国通信学会、重庆市电信通信学会、四川省电子学会、四川大学、重庆邮电大学、西南大学联合协办， 中国电科54所(通信网信息传输与分发技术重点实验室)提供赞助支持。来自电子科技大学、东南大学、西安电子科技大学、北京邮电大学等全国60多所大学、研究机构的专家学者200余人及近20位境外研究者出席了本次会议。

10月9日上午九点大会举行了开幕式。重庆大学副校长杨丹教授、大会主席重庆大学微电子与通信工程学院副院长（主持工作）谭晓衡教授、程序委员会主席重庆大学微电子与通信工程学院田逢春教授、重庆市电子学会常务副秘书长雒江涛教授、电子科技大学通信与信息工程学院副院长冷甦鹏教授、西南交通大学信息科学与技术学院副院长邹喜华教授、西安电子科技大学顾华玺教授等出席仪式，重庆大学微电子与通信工程学院副院长、会议执行主席刘敏教授主持会议。杨丹代表学校向与会的专家代表致欢迎辞，对各位学者的到来表示热烈欢迎。谭晓衡、田逢春也分别发表热情洋溢的讲话，表达了对大会成功举办的展望。

开幕式之后，OSA Fellow & SPIE Fellow、新加坡南洋理工大学Shum Ping教授，IEEE Fellow、新加坡信息通信研究院Sumei Sun博士，澳门科技大学李建强教授、电子科技大学冯钢教授、挪威奥斯陆大学张彦教授、重庆大学张磊博士等6位国内外专家作大会特邀报告。

本次会议论文涵盖网络与无线通信, 超大规模集成电路和系统设计, 信息隐藏与数字水印, 多媒体, 网络信息安全, 射频前端电路及系统, 智能移动设备设计, 编码和信号处理, 可穿戴技术, 微波/毫米波/太赫兹电路与系统, 物联网和大数据, 计算机视觉与人工智能, 5G通信与网络, 绿色通信系统, 通信设备建模, 电磁兼容天线设计等专题。总计收到投稿摘要462余篇，通过全文审稿最终录用的论文共计277篇，其中口头报告221篇，海报展示56篇。大会设5个分会场进行口头报告，共18个Session，积极交流了信息通信领域的最新进展。

本次会议对国际上重点、热点前沿科学技术进行了深入的讨论和研究，提供了青年学者与老一辈科学家之间进行交流的平台，促进了国内外高校之间的互相沟通，加强了学术界与工业界的联系。议程结束后，大会还组织与会者参观了重庆大学校史馆、重庆大学微电子与通信工程学院主要科研平台，并在会议间隙中对重庆大学人才引进政策进行了广泛宣传，全面展示了学校、学院的风貌，相信给广大参会人员留下了深刻的印象。

In the morning of OCT. 9, 2018, Opening Ceremony + Keynote Speeches

Prof. Min Liu, the vice-dean, College of Communication Engineering, Chongqing University is the host of this morning. At the beginning, Prof. Dan Yang, Executive Vice President of Chongqing University delivered his best wishes to IEEE ICCT 2018. Afterwards, Executive Vice Dean, College of Communication Engineering, Chongqing University, Prof. Tan Xiaoheng, gave the opening remarks on IEEE ICCT 2018. Prof. Fengchun Tian, College of Communication Engineering, Chongqing University, he is the Technical Program Committee Co-Chair of ICCT 2018. He used powerpoint to demonstrate the brief introduction about the confernece.
