Special Session 7. Multi-Agent Synergy: Theory, Key Technologies and Industrial Applications

Submit via easychair and select Special Session 7

  • With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, large language models, edge computing, swarm intelligence, and the Internet of Things, multi-agent synergy has evolved from a traditional distributed control paradigm into a key technological framework that enables autonomous perception, collaborative decision-making, task allocation, and efficient execution in complex and dynamic environments. In open, dynamic, and heterogeneous network settings, single-agent intelligence faces inherent limitations in perception range, computational capacity, and behavioral robustness. In contrast, multi-agent systems—through information exchange, collaborative learning, and joint decision-making—can achieve distributed autonomy and cross-domain collaboration, thereby significantly enhancing system performance in terms of perception coverage, decision response speed, and task execution efficiency.

  • There is an urgent need to deeply integrate communication, sensing, computing, and control (CSCC) capabilities to support diverse application scenarios, including multi-agent collaboration, high-reliability low-latency interaction, and integrated sensing, communication, and computing. Particularly in domains such as the industrial Internet, intelligent transportation, unmanned systems, smart manufacturing, smart cities, low-altitude economy, and emergency rescue, multi-agent synergy provides critical technical support for building autonomous, resilient, trustworthy, and efficient intelligent IoT systems. At the same time, it poses new research challenges concerning system architecture, communication mechanisms, collaborative decision-making, security and trustworthiness, and application validation.

  • To systematically present the latest theoretical breakthroughs, key technological achievements, and representative application practices in this field, this special session is organizing on "Multi-Agent Synergy." We cordially invite the submission of high-quality research manuscripts covering foundational theories, key technologies, application validation, and related dimensions.
