Xiaoying Tang (Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in January 2016. She is currently a tenure-track Assistant Professor with The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). She worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist with the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne and CUHK from 2016 to 2019, respectively. Her current research interests include algorithm design and optimizations in smart grids and other information systems, theoretic machine learning, and artificial intelligence. She received the Best Paper Award of IEEE SmartGridComm 2013.
