Dr. Weiqiang Sun is currently a full professor in the department of electronic engineering in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). Dr. Sun is actively involved in the research of high speed networks, network control and management, and network applications. He has over 100 publications in peer reviewed journals and conferences. He was a visiting scholar in MIT Sloan in 2008, and MIT LIDS in 2013/14. He was actively involved in the standardization of Generalized Multi-Protocol Label Switching (GMPLS) performance measurement in IETF, and is the co-editor of RFC 6777 and RFC 5814. He founded the “SJTU Health” project in SJTU in 2015, and from then, was interested in big data for health and health communities.

孙卫强，本科/博士分别毕业于中国科学技术大学少年班系/电子工程与信息科学系，现为上海交通大学电子工程系教授。主要研究领域为通信网和健康大数据。获得上海市“科技启明星”和教育部“霍英东教育基金”支持。2008年和2013-2014年间，MIT Sloan管理学院/决策实验室访问学者。作为项目负责人，承担了国家自然科学基金重点和面上及国际合作等课题。在国际期刊和国际会议上发表论文100多篇，在国际会议上作特邀报告10多次。曾作为第一作者，推动形成两项IETF国际标准（RFC 5814和RFC 6777）。

近几年来，致力于从事健康大数据研究，创立了上海交通大学 “交大健康”大数据平台，对运动数据、膳食数据等进行研究。获得相关软件著作权2项，申请相关专利4项。
